EPA Teleconference: Science Advisory Board

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a multi-day teleconference meeting of its Science Advisory Board to discuss its draft reports on the scientific and technical basis of four pending rules. In particular, the Advisory Board will discuss:

  1. National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Coal- and Oil-Fired Electric Utility Steam Generating Units—Reconsideration of Supplemental Finding and Residual Risk and Technology Review (January 24 meeting)
  2. The Safer Affordable Fuel-Efficient (SAFE) Vehicles Rule for Model Years 2021-2026 Passenger Cars and Light Trucks (January 22 meeting)
  3. Strengthening Transparency in Regulatory Science (January 21 meeting)
  4. Revised Definition of “Waters of the United States” (January 17 meeting)
