The Garden Island – The safety of the restricted use pesticide has been up for debate on both the national and state stages; in 2015, the EPA recommended that chlorpyrifos be banned from all food crops.
The New York Times – In March, the E.P.A. denied a 10-year-old petition seeking a complete ban on chlorpyrifos. The agency said there “continue to be considerable areas of uncertainty” about its neurodevelopmental effects.
